Event description

Career Inspiration - Science (Online Event)

I am looking for a speaker for my skills for work, National 5 Lab Science class. I

The course consists of a mix of career skills, chemistry, biology and physics. Throughout the year they will undertake different techniques from each science (listed below for extra info), and complete research into different industries and careers that utilise the techniques from the course. They must identify a company and associated job/career at a local, national and global level that links back to the lab skills course.

Techniques
Chemistry - making Standard solutions, colorimetry, titration and distillation
Biology - a range of microbiology techniques
Physics - circuits, solar cells and radiation

I can be very flexible dates and times and work around the speakers, the class come on a
Monday June( 14th or 21st) 11.25 - 1.15,
Tuesday June 15th or 22nd 8.40 - 9.30,
or Wednesday June 16th or 23rd 10.20 - 11.10,
Friday June 17th 11.35 - 12.25

Bringing sectors and jobs to life and inspire young people to consider their career options and raise aspirations through offering real insight regarding daily duties of a specific job or talking about a day in the life in a particular sector. Can include showing and explaining the specific skills required in a given industry to give valuable insight into young people considering a career option.
