About the teacher and students
The event was created by Vicki Murawski for 100 students at Shirley High School Performing Arts College aged Age 16 - 18.
Event description
Year 12 Careers Fair. A chance for employers to showcase their opportunities and industries.
We are running a careers fair for year 12 students, as part of a wider cultural capital week. Students will be taking part in careers based activities in the morning and will attend the careers fair in the afternoon. We would like students to be exposed to a variety of employers to broaden their horizons and inspire them to aim higher.
The format will be stand set up in a hall, ideally if volunteers can speak on behalf of their company but also answer questions about their careers journey and the industry.
