Event description
Female Empowerment -Inspiring Girls into STEM
In this 1 hour session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will explain how they may not have been the best in maths and may not have always enjoyed it but have made a career out of it.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
Q&As will follow to end the session.
