Event description

NIA Year 10 Career Week

This is the first day in a week of Career events at the school. The 360 cohort will be divided into groups of 30 and visit 2 different industry volunteers, so you will deliver one 30min session, twice over.

In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire students to make informed decisions about their future and offer a brief Q&A session.

Speakers will tell a story about their career journey:
- Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
- What inspired them to choose their career path
- Their failures, as well as successes
- What their company does and why this is important
- What they enjoy most about their career
- Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
