About the teacher and students

The event was created by Nusrat Sadiq for 300 students at Washwood Heath Academy aged Age 15 - 15.

Event description

Delivering a key note assembly to our year 10 pupils on career aspirations and the journey they need to take. A real opportunity to experience at least some insight into the world of work.

We would like two speakers for this hour session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Q&As will follow to end the session.
