The event was created by Ella O'Brien for 250 students at The Langley Academy aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

Work Insight Day - Raise aspirations and help young people understand your sector and discuss the soft skills needed. More details and agenda can be sent if this is of interest.

Inspire the next generation of talent, this school covers has a catchment which includes areas of disadvantaged and disengaged students. During the pandemic they have missed the opportunity for world of work experiences and there is no prospect of Work Experience in the next year. Bring your knowledge of your career journey to life and with up to 10 business volunteers from different industries mentor the students throughout the day. Increase the soft skills these students have including teamwork, working with colleagues not friends, presentation skills, innovation.

This activity will run in school from 08:30 to 15:00
