Event description

International Women's Week: A Celebration of Inspirational Females in Business

I am hoping to run a week long Inspirational Talks from successful women in business who demonstrate resilience, drive and the 'we can' attitude to all types of business. The aim is to introduce Year 9-13 pupils/students to some inspiring role models from their local area. I want to run 5 lunch time talks from 13.30-14.30 Mon 7th - Friday 11th of March to coincide with International Women's Day on Tuesday March 8th.
I will ask each department area to organise a workshop within their areas throughout the week with female representatives in their disciplines taking a Year 12 or 13 lesson so students get to interact and question individual role models to compliment the lunch time talks.
