Event description

Year 10 Careers and Futures Event 14th and 15th July- please volunteer what time you can.

In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire 14 and 15 year old students to make informed decisions about their future.

We want to run a number of insight sessions/talks/workshops over the course of 2 days (Thursday 14th & Friday 15th July) that students can attend.

Timings of sessions are:
8.50-9.50
9.50-10.50
11.10-12.10
12.10-1.10
2.10-3.10

Students will attend talks on a carousel basis throughout the day. If you are available to attend at a particular time then please let me know as the programme is very fluid at the moment, you may be able to give an hour or all day, or over both days.

Speakers will talk bout their career journey, to include:
Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
What inspired them to choose their career path
Their failures, as well as successes
What their company does and why this is important
What they enjoy most about their career
Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
