About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Melanie Breen for 50 students at Sacred Heart Catholic School aged Age 17 - 18.

Event description

Inspire our students and to assist in setting up a LinkedIn profile and to discuss the importance of networking in today's labour market.

"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

The event will be part of our employability day at Sacred Heart, organised to get students ready for work. They will all be completing work experience in the summer and we would like for all students to have a LinkedIn profile set up ready to network so they can get the best out of their experience and to help them in their future career.

The workshops will be lead by a LinkedIn specialist who will present a talk of 30 mins, after that your role will be to assist them in setting up their profile and share with them how you use LinkedIn, plus helping the students with their elevator pitches. There will be 3 workshops, all lasting 1 hour, each session will have 40 students, all will have access to computers / laptops.

Sessions will be roughly 9/10/11 am
