The event was created by Charlotte Dash for 150 students at Goodwin Academy aged Age 14 - 18.
Event description
It would be incredible if you could help to inspire our students about their future, the past two years have been difficult with lockdowns.
We are creating a careers conference for Years 10, 12 and 13. It is a one week event.
"In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will â tell a story about their career journey:
Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
What inspired them to choose their career path
Their failures, as well as successes
What their company does and why this is important
What they enjoy most about their career
Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
