Event description
Careers Carousel - Hammersmith Academy
The Careers Carousel will involve the professionals rotating between 5 classrooms on the same corridor to talk to a different class of 30 Year 9 students and their teacher for 15 minutes. Once each 15 minute session is over, the volunteers swap classes – and the process will begin again, until they've chatted to all five classes!
The teacher will have a number of questions to ask the volunteers (which we can let them have beforehand) and the focus will be on Teamwork and how important it is to the volunteer in their job, how they’ve built the skills etc. Hopefully the students will also get a chance to ask questions.
