Digital Skills in the Spotlight - Social/Creative Digital
Founders4Schools and Skills Development Scotland are hosting an online day of career inspiration webinars to encourage students to consider a future career in the digital and tech sectors.
Young people use technology as no other generation has ever done before. They are tech savvy but the skills they develop do not always match what industry needs or they are not interested in working in tech/digital-related industries.
Why should young people be interested? It’s the future, when even traditional jobs need a digital-savvy workforce it’s something they need to consider about their future. And the Tech, digital and IT-related job vacancies make up 12% of all open UK job vacancies, with more than 100,000 open vacancies per month, making it the fastest-growing sector with varied and well-paid jobs, it’s not an option that can be ignored.
This session looks at Social/Creative Digital
