The event was created by Lizzie King for 300 students at Burntwood School aged Age 14 - 14.

Event description

Take part in a year 9 career networking session from 8.30am to 11am on Wednesday 9 March.

The format would be
8.30am Employers arrive for briefing
8.50am 150 Year 9 students seated on tables of 8 with two employers on each table.
8.55 Introduction to students and ice breaker activity
9.05 Speed networking begins - 5-minute sessions with a one-minute intro from employers. Students move six times.
9.40 Wrap up and conclusions
9.45 Students depart
9.50 Second cohort of students arrive
10.50 Event ends
Nearer the time we will provide suggestions of what you could cover in your one-minute introduction and give you the questions that the students have.

It would be great if you were able to give a hypothetical response - Yes...if Covid circumstances allow....it is in the diary.
