The event was created by Philippa Shaw for 50 students at John F Kennedy Catholic School aged Age 13 - 13.

Event description

Careers event with year 8 students, classic F4S panel-style event.

In this session, business volunteers will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire the students to make informed decisions about their future.
Panel event with each speaker giving a talk then a chance for Q&A.
Volunteers could tell the story of their career journey,
explain subjects they studied and how these are relevant now,
what inspired them to choose their career path,
their failures, as well as successes
what their company does and why this is important
what they enjoy most about their career
skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
We're a mainstream mixed secondary school and this event is part of a Work Related Learning day for the students.
