Event description

Apprenticeships in maths; where can they take you?

Meet empowering female role models who used the opportunity of an apprenticeship involving maths as their next step into the world of work

Founders4Schools (F4S) invites schools, students and young people interested in discovering more about different career paths to join us in this day-long free virtual event to hear from inspirational role models about apprenticeships.

Come along to this free event to be inspired & get informed about the apprenticeships.

In this 1 hour session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Q&As will follow to end the session.
