Event description

My Future is Now! Advice and Inspiration for the next generation
**This event will take place on MSTeams**

In the session, volunteers will be talking to S2 pupils, as they are preparing to choose the subjects they will study in S3 and beyond. The call will take place through Teams, as that is what we use in school.

It would be great if volunteers could talk about their career journey- what subjects they chose at school, what they went on to do after school and how they ended up in the role they are in. I would like pupils to see that there is no wrong path and there are lots of opportunities out there- from university, college, apprenticeships and working for themselves.

Volunteers could talk about what/ who inspired them and any setbacks they have had, as well as their successes. Finally, it would be good if volunteers could talk about the transferable skills they have acquired over the years and how they use them on a day to day basis.
