Event description
What skills do Employers look for?
We are beginning to work on the SQA Employability Units.
We want our pupils to look at their existing skills and experience, and how these might apply to the world of work. They will also consider the sort of employment they would like ¿ what they would like to get from work, and what sort of job will deliver that.
We hope to hear from people who can talk about the skills and qualities employers are looking for in candidates.
The focus will be s on generic employability skills, that will enable our pupils a successful move into the job market. and aim to help them learn about and develop the skills and attitudes which will be applicable across all areas of employment.
