The event was created by Helen Rooney for 30 students at The Valley Leadership Academy aged Age 11 - 16.

Event description

Inspire our students - Careers Futures Event inspiring our students to aim high and widening their aspirations and experiences

We would like participants to talk about their journey the skills needed and the pathways available sessiosn are approx 45 minutes including time for questions and there are 5 sessions in the day.
Lunch is provided and half day visitors are welcome as well. Anyone who can bring a stand and be situated in our hall event is most welcome as well We are now called The Valley Leadership Academy formerly Fearns.

Share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ˜tell a story’ about their career journey:

Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now

• What inspired them to choose their career path

• Their failures, as well as successes

• What their company does and why this is important

• What they enjoy most about their career

• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now."
