Event description

Maths in Action: Careers Using Maths

In this session, we will ask you to talk about your pathways and career, your current role and day-to-day, and the ways that you use maths in your career. We are keen to hear unique and interesting uses of maths and hope to inspire our students to consider a career using this subject.

We are happy to work with you to plan your talk, but as an example you could cover:
• Your career path up till now
• What inspired you to choose this career path
• What you do and why this is important
• What enjoy most about their career
• Interesting ways that you use maths in your role.
