Event description
Maths Week Scotland
The 27th of September 2021 marks the beginning of Maths Week Scotland. I lead maths in a primary school within an area of high deprivation in Glasgow City Council. We would love anyone who uses maths in their everyday life (preferably related to their work) to meet with classes through Microsoft TEAMS and give a brief overview of what it is they do, why maths is an important factor within this and possibly a brief discussion about the pathway you took to get to where you are today. I have listed the 28th as the preferred date but we would love to have as many as possible any day or time that week (apart from Monday and within our 09:00 - 15:00 working day), the session also does not need to last 1 hour either.
