About the teacher and students

The event was created by Helena Yovichich for 50 students at University College School aged Age 15 - 18.

Event description

Inspiring students to dream big. Careers for the future.

This session is there for the students to understand how you got into your role, what you love (or don't so love so much!) about your job and advice for those interested in your field of work.

The invite will be for our Year 11 to Yr13 students but it will also be offered and advertised to our four state partner schools, so the audience should be a diverse mix of enthusiastic and able students. Some students will know people working in your field, others may not and this is a great way for them to aspire high.

The main aim is to inspire the students to consider your field of work as a great career path for them, for students to gain confidence in understanding how they should go about working towards such a career path and to hear about your experience.

It is a short 30 minute session therefore the aim would be to do an individual talk (about 20 minutes talk and ten minutes questions) to a group of students particularly interested in your field of work.

If you cannot do the date given but would be interested in getting involved please do say as we run numerous careers talks on Tuesdays throughout the school calendar.

I really look forward to hearing from you and hope you would like to be involved in our careers talk event.

Best wishes,

Helena Yovichich
