Event description

WMSF Careers and Futures Event- Your Future Now

Students will be given opportunities to meet with business leaders from a wide range of industry sectors. They will learn some of the skills and qualifications needed to get ahead in their chosen industry, and link what they learn to their programme of study in order to raise their aspirations. The sessions will be divided into two half-hour slots so that all students have two meaningful encounters. Guest speakers will be encouraged to talk to students about their own journeys, including starting points and how they dealt with and overcame challenges and adversity. Students will also be able to ask a range of questions and we hope that the event will develop curiosity and aspiration within our students.
