Event description

Heworth Grange School: Employer Enterprise Challenge 19th - 23rd July 2021

Our students are unable to take part in work experience this year, so I am organising an Employer Enterprise Event for our Year 10's in the summer term 19th - 23rd July and I am looking for employers who would like to be involved in this event to give our students an insight into industries and learn to new skills.

We would like the employer to set a group challenge that students can complete in school:

Mon 19th July (AM)
Day 1: Employer to come into school and present their company/industry to the students and set them a 4 day challenge. (approx. 1 hour)

Wed 21st July
Day 3: An employer catch-up day 3 either in person or virtually. (15min minimum to a maximum of 1 hour)

Fri 23rd July (AM)
Day 5: Employers will be invited to return to school to watch students present their findings, along with a celebration and awards. (1hr 30min approx.)

There will be approximately 15 groups of students who will need an employer challenge.

If you are interested in getting involved, please accept this opportunity and we can take it from there.
