STEM COMMUNITY EASTER LECTURE
The wonder of synchrotrons and their research

Synchrotrons are a set of particle accelerators that produce very brilliant light which makes them very suitable to study all sorts of materials at molecular and atomic levels. With this lecture, you will hear how these big machines are built and learn about the fascinating research that is being done in these facilities in the fields of Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
