The event was created by Christie Ford for 60 students at Dunard Primary School & Nursery Class aged Age 7 - 8.

Event description

Explore & Inspire: STEM

Our School is holding a STEM week and we are looking for volunteers to help develop the STEM knowledge of children.

We want to explore STEM ideas and careers to stimulate children's interest in these subjects by having an interactive session. You should start your session with an introduction about you and your job.

As this session will be held via MSTeams, if there is preparation required by the Teacher and class in advance, to enable pupils to participate in the session please let us know.

This is one of a series of sessions and if you are able to attend another one, please let us know.
Session 1: Monday May 10th 1.15pm - 2pm- Nursery & Primary 1
Session 2: Tuesday May 11th 1.15pm - 2pm- Primary 2 & 3
Session 3: Wednesday May 12th 1.15pm - 2pm- Primary 4 & 5
Session 4: Thursday May 13th 1.15pm - 2pm- Primary 6 (& possibly 7)
*Possible additional Session 5: Friday May 14th 1.15pm - 2pm- Primary 7 (iPads available)
