The event was created by Hy5kpqdbabzbxmdopuffgb for 150 students at Boldon School aged Age 14 - 15.

Event description

Incorporating STEM into other worlds of work. Careers at lower levels included – manufacturing, engineering, link to local LMI.

We feel that they need an awareness of how COVID has impacted the labour market. Expectations from employers with remote working, well-being, following health and safety policy etc. A change in the number of jobs in some sectors, lower demand - retail/hospitality, higher demand - care/engineering/manufacturing. They need to futureproof themselves - gathering evidence of transferrable skills.
