THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE VIA MS TEAMS
Part of the Futures4Students careers inspiration webinars series -this is a live virtual event in conjunction with Careers Week 2021, designed to guide young people in decisions about their future career.
In order to help young people make the right decisions about their future career path, it is essential that they have access to authentic and relevant experiences of the world of work in order to gain relevant insight, knowledge and skills. These events will provide essential support for young people in considering and pursuing their career choices and inspire them to make better informed decisions about their future.
Learn from industry professionals how rewarding a career in the Environment & Energy Sectors and the Food & Drink industry can be.
In this session, speakers s will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
