About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly. Combined they employ 80+ people.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Victoria Fitzpatrick for 150 students at Oasis Academy Don Valley aged Age 14 - 14.

Event description

Inspiring students to increase aspiration within the Academy.

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

The academy is very culturally diverse so it would be great to hear from business leaders from a range of backgrounds.
