Event description

St Machar Academy Career Afternoon - Education and Training
THIS EVENT WILL BE VIA MSTEAMS

St Machar Academy is delivering a Careers afternoon via MSTEAMS for our students interested in a career in education and training. We are looking for speakers to deliver a short 15 minutes digital talk/presentation on their experience of working in education - the highlights to the challenges, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.

Our digital event will run from 12:25-14:45 and will consist of 5 different digital talks from 5 different speakers. Some example questions that speakers may wish to approach are:
What is your experience working in education?
What gets you out of bed working in education?
What are the challenges you have faced?
We welcome interactive approaches and any ideas you may have.

We want to give our pupils considering a career in education an encounter with the sector that will encourage them and equip them. The event will be attended by a wide range of students from those considering early years education to those considering university lecturing. If this is something you would be able to assist us with please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,
Aaron Harvey
