About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Richard Northover for 75 students at Holland Park School aged Age 15 - 16.

Event description

The third event in a week-long series of inspirational talks to Year 11 students.

We have embedded inspirational talks to our curriculum by substituting traditional tutor time activities with talks that will raise the aspirations of our students.
Year 11 students will be split into two groups and hear from 2 business leaders in 2 simultaneous 30-minute sessions.
This will run for the whole week during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Holland Park is a highly successful and over-subscribed comprehensive school in the heart of west central London. It is recognised as "an outstanding school" by Ofsted, recorded as one of the country’s top performing specialist Humanities Colleges and praised in the Good Schools Guide as a school which "has seen a steep and continuing rise in results".
Career planning for staff and students is intentionally diverse and personalised, building on capacity and believing that aspiration is for all. Very little at Holland Park happens by chance or accident: this is a planned, well-articulated institution which relishes its responsibility for driving forwards fast and is passionate about equality of opportunity.
