Event description

Taster Session of a role model event followed by a training session for teachers in the Cambridge area .

In partnership with Barclays we are inviting Senior Education Leaders in the Cambridge area to attend a taster session that will showcase the impact of role model events. It will be followed by a training session that will demonstrate how a teacher can - in approximately 4 minutes - invite inspirational leaders to their classroom to speak to students about the jobs they are creating and the skills they will need for high impact careers.

Barclays is keen to offer their support in helping really embed role model events across Cambridgeshire for the benefit of the students, schools, colleges and indeed businesses who are challenged to recruit local young people into jobs and careers in the East.

The taster session will only last 30 minutes between 8.30-9.00 am and will follow the typical structure of a Founders4Schools enabled role model event.
