The event was created by Julie Kiddier for 50 students at Dixons Fazakerley Academy aged Age 14 - 18.
Event description
Inspire our students to be confident in a changing world. Talk about skills and knowledge that have allowed you to succeed and adapt through your career and particularly at the moment.
In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
