Maths4Girls- Webinar

Join our interactive online event where inspirational leaders from the world of business share their unique career journey. By sharing insights, career guidance, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire we hope to support young people to make informed decisions about their future.

Similar to a TED Talk, speakers will share their career journey for 8 - 10 minutes, followed by a lively Q&A session where students can ask questions online.

Speakers Profile:

Ayesa Latif - Head of EMEA eCommerce FX & LM Rates Sales at Citi. Experienced business and thought leader in eCommerce sales and trading, electronification of markets, market microstructure, and financial technology innovation. Proven track record of developing and executing strategic business initiatives that deliver revenue and market share growth, and top rankings with institutional clients.

Emilia Bayer - Inclusion and Change Manager at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP. Accomplished business management and branding professional with entrepreneurial vision, leadership skills and a keen interest in organizational leadership, culture change, multidisciplinary innovation, sustainability and circular economy.

Age Appropriacy: This type of event is appropriate for any student aged 5 through 24. Refer to our white paper pages 10 and 11 for more details. This white paper summarizes more than 100 externally validated research papers on career pathways for students.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey (up to 10mins):
• How maths played a part and how maths is relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
