Employability Skills Day - Inspire the next generation!

Skills Building and Citizenship education is about enabling people to make their own decisions and to take responsibility for their own lives and communities.

These events help pupils learn a range of attributes to boost employability, develop enterprise opportunities and prepare young people for the world of work. In addition to this, students can gain an in-depth understanding of why integral skills such as resilience, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills and independence are important within the workplace.

The day is made up of a series of interactive challenges all designed to enable the students to develop their employability skills. They will work in teams throughout the day and your role will be to support the students in completion of the various activities. You may also be asked to be a judge for certain activities. A full briefing will be provided before the event.
