The event was created by Bernie Corrighan for 150 students at Grey Court School aged Age 13 - 17.

Event description

Give up a couple of hours of your time and inspire our students!

Our Careers and options day 2020 offers year 9 students and opportunity to meet with a range of people from different career areas. It runs all day but we just ask for a couple of hours of your time to support the event - you can choose the following sessions:
Session 1 – 8.30am – 10.25am
Session 2 - 10.45am – 12.25pm
(Lunch provided 12.25pm – 1.05pm)
Session 3 – 1.05pm – 2.55pm

These encounters should be set up as ‘carousel’-style activity, where groups of students move between different business leaders, with pre-prepared quick-fire questions.

Speed mentoring offers students the opportunity to ask meaningful questions to a range of different business leaders, to gain an insight into their working life and receive advice on the skills that are needed to be successful in today’s economy.
