Event description

Brunts British science Week Inspiring students Assembly

The Brunts academy is putting on our first ever British science week for our year 7, 8 and 9 students (age 11-14). They are going to be completing exciting activities in lessons and learning facts in tutor time as well as entering a photography competition. To add to this experience of science week I would love for an enthusiastic speaker to come into assemblies that week and talk to students about science, how they got into it and possibly even bring in tech or just talk to students about science careers to enthuse students to get involved in science. Each assembly is only 15 minutes (8.35am-8.50am) long on 4 separate days that week (Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th, Wed 11th and Friday 13th) so the talks do not have to be extensively long.
