The event was created by Suzanne Lockwood for 50 students at Bolton College aged Age 17 - 18.

Event description

Inspire and motivate young people to aspire for more in their futures. 3xone hour sessions over 3 weeks, can you support at any of these?

Working with Bolton College Students for 3 x one hour sessions on 16th, 23rd and 30th March.

We will deliver the following sessions:
• Monday 16th March 1-2pm – Dream Lifestyle and budget, What Success means to me
• Monday 23rd March 1-2pm – Who are you now, Jobs booklets, Labour market info, Reality budget
• Monday 30th March 1-2pm – Interview Matchmaker, STAR Pass, Goal setting and Evaluations

We would like your support to share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire these students to make informed decisions about their future.

Ideally you will ‘tell a short story’ about your career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Failures, as well as successes
• What your company does and why this is important
• What you enjoy most about your career
