Event description

Inspire our students

A Speed Networking Event entitled "A Date With Success"

Year 9 will enter the hall in classes of 60 and move around each employer after every whistle to find out more about their careers and how they got to where they are now!

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
