Inspire Our Students - Craigmount High School Careers Event 2020

Hello everyone,

Building on the success of the Career networking event at Craigmount High School last year, we are once again in need of volunteers for Careers Week in 2020.
We plan to run 2 events this year, an S2 Careers event and an evening event for parents and guardians.
Both events take place at Craigmount High school, Craigs Roads, Edinburgh, EH12 8NH.

S2 Careers Event- January 30th 2020

This event will consist of two 'speed networks' sessions at 120 minutes each (with breaks in between). We are looking for approximately 60 volunteers. You will be required from 9:00-13:10, during this time students move around the hall and have 5 minutes to ask you questions from their question grids. The question grid will be shared with you in the week leading up to the event.
Refreshments will be provided and you are welcome to stay for lunch afterwards.
In the last few year students have found this event inspiring and it has opened their eyes to the range of jobs that exist in our modern world.

Parent Careers Event- January 28th or 29th

This is an evening event, taking place on either the 28th or 29th of January. Craigmount from 18:00-19:00. The format of this evening will be more informal.
Stalls can be set up and parents and students will move around the different areas to ask questions.

If you can help us with either (or both) of these event, please fill out the information below and return to murat.gullen@craigmount.edin.sch.uk by December 16th 2019.
