Inspire our students at TechXLR8!

How would like to help us to inspire year 9 pupils this Summer and get them dreaming, exploring and discovering all of the amazing opportunities that a career in tech could have for them? We are working with the incredible team at London Tech Week to host 8 schools at TechXLR8 this year in order to do just that, and we need your help!

What is London Tech Week?
London Tech Week is a global celebration of tech uniting the most innovative thinkers and talent of tomorrow in a week-long festival. Showcasing how tech is transforming both business and society, London Tech Week drives the conversations around transformation, diversity and innovation and gives the tech eco-system a platform to come together with decision makers, industry leaders, striving entrepreneurs and influencers to drive change. In short, an absolutely amazing opportunity to introduce young people to a career in tech!

What is TechXLR8?
As the Flagship event of Europe's biggest tech festival, London Tech Week, TechXLR8 is home to 7 of the biggest technology conferences in the world. Last year there were 17,000 attendees, over 300 exhibitors and 95 countries represented. WOW!

What are we asking you to do?
We are planning to split the day evenly between different tasks so that young people get a full idea of what a career in tech would be like, how to access the right career path and also have a chance to share their ideas with us. We need your help with the 'Inspire' rotation where we are inviting guest speakers to engage with the young people as part of panel discussion with a class sized group so that they can get a deep insight into careers in tech.
