These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly. Combined they employ 2+ people.
The event was created by Eranda Aliu for 150 students at The UCL Academy aged Age 13 - 18.
Come join our Careers Fair: Tue 28 January 2020
We are hosting our next major Careers Fair on Tuesday 28 January 2020 and we hope to have around 40 Exhibitors from a broad range of career sectors. Students and parents of Years 9-13 are invited to attend so it promises to be a very busy evening. The school has a very strong STEAM department and many students are aiming for careers in the science/computing sector. It would be great if some computer/IT sector companies would be able to attend and offer advice.
As a careers manager to the school, it's my objective to introduce students to people and experiences to inspire them to become motivated learners and events like this really do make a difference.
The plan is for exhibitors to arrive from 5p.m. for some refreshments and the chance to do some networking, and the Fair will open promptly at 5.45p.m. with an address from a guest speaker. I will firm up the details closer to the date, but for now wanted to check your availability – and Thank You!
Sincerely,
Ms E Aliu

(Companies will set up stalls in a space set up by the school and may bring business cards, leaflets or some technology to showcase to students. Students will have the opportunity to informally approach lots of different employers, talk to them personally and ask questions. It is important to note that there should be no expectations of any job opportunities being offered by business leaders at a careers fair but this is a great way for students to experience a wide range of businesses in their local community and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.)
