Event description

BCS Mock Interviews

I am the careers adviser at Bournemouth Collegiate School and on Thursday 9th January 2020 we are holding mock interviews for our year 11 pupils. To carry out these interviews we rely on the support from our local community, alumni and businessmen and women and I am writing to you to ask for your assistance in carrying out these interviews.

As our pupils are deciding what they want to do following their GCSE’s, whether that be Sixth Form, College, an Apprenticeship or other further education establishments, we need to ensure they are prepared for the interview process that may follow their applications.

To do this we have found it most effective to invite in external participants to conduct the interviews rather than our school staff, as we want our pupils to have as much of a true to life experience as possible. If you are able to volunteer some of your time to us it would be hugely appreciated and would be an invaluable experience for our pupils.

I understand that you must be very busy and that it may not be possible for you to volunteer at this time, however if you think you may be able to help please do contact me for further information.
