About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Jane Shipley for 200 students at Simon Balle All-Through School aged Age 14 - 14.

Event description

Inspire and enthuse students by taking the role of an interviewer.
The learning for the young people is huge.
Your support is invaluable!

Students in Year 9 take part in the interview and job application challenges that local, national and international employers use within their current recruitment processes. Individual and team assessments, thinking ‘out of the box’ tasks, customer service activities, practical and written exercises, and interviews are delivered by the business volunteers who provide real and honest feedback.
We are looking for volunteers who are prepared to interview the students.
There will be approx. 5/6 students per interviewer and the workshop will run 6 times throughout the day.
The day starts at 8.15 am and concludes at 3.30 pm.
Parking and lunch are provided, as well as all resources.
Please help inspire young people and allow them to begin to understand, just what it is that employers look for in their workforce today and in the future.
