Event description

Could you inspire the students at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls about your career and pathway?

For the first time this year we are holding the careers fair in the school day to maximise the opportunity for all of our girls. This year the event is being held on Thursday 9th January at King Edward VI Handsworth School for Girls in the School Hall and Library. We are aiming to invite employers and experts from a range of sectors and industries to really highlight to our girls which future pathways are available to them and how they can enter those fields. The purpose of the event is to give an insight into the wide range of career opportunities available in today’s labour market both in Birmingham and further afield. The event will run from 12.50-3.35pm with each year group having a time slot to attend. We are inviting our employer partners to arrive from 12pm to set up, network and have some refreshments before the girls start looking round at 12.50pm.

It would be great if you were able to attend and show a wider number of our girls the type of roles that could be available to them within your field
