The event was created by Chris Corrigan for 50 students at Archbishop Ilsley Catholic School aged Age 14 - 14.
Event description
Inspire our students to have a love of maths and science. To see the importance of it and try and relate this to real life. Many pupils don’t.
In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
