I started computer programming on a ZX Spectrum in 1985 at age seven - and have never stopped.
I currently lead a global team or software engineers and analysts at Barclays who build trading systems for our Interest Rate business.
I have a strong interest in technical management and talent development and have been fortunate to lead some exceptional teams at leading firms.

Inspire our students
Inspire our students with our 'Life after CANDI' talks to highlight the skills needed for success beyond A levels. All students will be in their 2nd year of A level study and will have applied to either University/Jobs or Apprenticeships.
In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
