Event description

Positively Inspiring Students to Consider Apprenticeships

This is a Year 9 Learning for Life Day based on apprenticeships as viable options for further and higher educational study and training. I am looking for volunteers who either are apprentices or who have completed an apprenticeship.

Volunteers can opt to join us for one session up to four hourly sessions, which are running:
9.05am to 10.05am
10.10am to 11.10am
11.30am to 12.30pm
12.35pm to 1.35pm

Volunteers need to be willing to give a ten to fifteen minute presentation to each group of students they work with (one group per hour spent on site) and be willing to support the tutor in delivering a range of apprenticeship related careers games and activities (school will provide the activities). However, there is also the option for volunteers to bring in their own activity/activities related to their job role.

I need 40 hours of volunteering to make this event happen. I'd be happy to hear from organisations willing to offer multiple volunteers or from people willing to volunteer for more than one hour.
