Event description

Inspire our students

Volunteer for the EY Foundation, an independent registered charity helps young people from low socio-economic backgrounds, to achieve their ambitions, regardless of their background.

Our Mission
Reduce the barriers young people face getting into work
Inspire and engage them to achieve their potential
Make their transition into higher education, employment or enterprise successful

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire students to make informed decisions about their future.

Volunteers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
