Event description

Making Enterprise accessible to the next generation, in Ipswich

Entrepreneurial attitudes & skills are increasingly requested by employers that are looking to remain competitive and relevant. Together with local business leaders Business in The Community are bringing together 160 learners at Suffolk New College to take part in a morning of interactive and engaging activities to help them realise their potential.
These workshops are designed to increase student’s intention and ability to act entrepreneurially by taking ownership of their professional careers and tackling societal problems in an innovative way.

Business in the Community and Suffolk New College invite you to support learners in one of three workshops:
1. Intrapreneurship; how to be entrepreneurial and enterprising in the workplace
2. Digital entrepreneurship within the growing Tech Sector
3. Entrepreneurship in the growing Construction and engineering Sector

With guidance at every stage from Business in the Community, Business Ambassadors will be teaching learners about entrepreneurial attitudes and skills needed for successful working lives. With your support, learners will develop their teamworking, creativity, resilience, resourcefulness and networking skills.
By the end of this event we hope these young people will have the power and potential to build their own successful future. Together, we will make entrepreneurship accessible to all young people in Ipswich.
