The event was created by Louise Dawes for 250 students at The Dormston School aged Age 13 - 14.

Event description

Stereotypes Day - event to challenge stereotypes in the world of work / to inspire our students/ increase knowledge of job roles available.

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
